Gifts for people into erxian
Erxian is an Erhu, the two-stringed bowed instrument from Chinese music, and a lot of people who play it are doing so with real dedication: long hours on a hard stool, learning from teachers who pass on a repertoire that's easy to miss in the usual music school setting. An erxian player is often the one in the ensemble who gets asked to carry the melody, which makes a shirt or mug with the instrument's name feel like recognition. Add their own name or ensemble and it becomes theirs. A dark tee suits a concert black outfit, a hoodie covers the cold walk to rehearsal, and a mug is the one thing in the practice room that's definitely theirs. If you're buying for a whole orchestra section, the Team Shop lets you put every player's name on the same design. Keep in mind that the word itself is the instrument's name, so the second line is where the personal touch goes.
