Gifts from Etoile
Etoile is a word a lot of people will recognize from the French for star, and it's also the name of a city, which makes a gift for someone from there or someone who loves it a little more specific. Whoever this gift is for probably has a strong attachment to the place, whether they grew up there, moved away, or just found it worth claiming as home. A T-shirt with the city name is a simple way to say that out loud, and a second line for a neighborhood, a street, or the year they moved in turns a generic tee into theirs. Hoodies suit the colder months and the people who walk everywhere. A mug fits the morning routine of someone who misses the place or the person who knows every local café. Since the spelling is distinctive, make sure the preview looks right before you order so the accent-free version reads the way you intend.
Etoile gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or street to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the neighborhood or street there. Check the preview to see how it sits under the main word.
Will the spelling and accent appear exactly as I type it?
The preview shows exactly what will print, so type the word the way you want it and confirm it looks right before you order.
Are there designs for kids or babies from this city?
Yes. There are kids tees and baby onesies with the same word, which makes a good set for a family gift.
Can I put a year on the shirt?
Yes. Use the second line for a year, like the year they moved there or the year they were born.
What sizes do the etoile shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Etoile gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
