Picking a gift for an event technician
Event technicians spend their days setting up stages, running cable, and fixing whatever broke five minutes before doors open. They're on their feet in dark venues, hauling road cases, and they often work nights and weekends, so a gift that makes the crew feel seen tends to land well. A hoodie is useful for cold loading docks and drafty arenas, and a tee with their job title is easy to wear on the next load-in. Mugs get used constantly in the production office or the truck. Add their name or company line so it's clearly theirs, and if you're buying for a whole crew, one design with each person's name is a better thank-you than another round of takeout. The job title is also a conversation starter, so the shirt tends to get noticed by other people in the industry.
Event Technician gift questions
Can I add a company or venue name to an event technician shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the company or venue name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a dark shirt option for crew who wear black?
Yes. Dark T-shirts and Dark Kids T-shirts are available for this title, and they suit the all-black look a lot of technicians wear on site.
What's a good gift for someone just starting out in event tech?
A tee or hoodie with their job title and the year they started works well. It's something they can wear to gigs and show off to other crew.
What sizes do the event technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an event technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
