Picking a gift for an expeditor
An expeditor is the person who keeps a restaurant kitchen moving. They stand at the pass, read every ticket, check plates before they leave the line, and call out when something is off. Most of the work happens at a loud, hot station, often late into the evening, so the gifts that land are the ones that feel like they were made for that job. A dark tee for a long shift, a hoodie for the cold walk-in air, or a mug for the one quiet minute before service. Typing their title or name into the design makes it theirs, and a second line can carry the restaurant name or their shift if you know it. For a whole kitchen crew, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Expeditor gift questions
What does an expeditor do?
An expeditor checks dishes as they come off the line, makes sure orders are complete and right, and keeps the kitchen and servers in sync. It is a key role in busy restaurants.
Can I add a restaurant name to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the restaurant name or their shift there and the preview will update so you can check it before ordering.
Is this a good gift for a new expeditor?
Yes. A tee or mug with their title is a nice way to mark a first job in a kitchen and shows you noticed how hard the work is.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
Yes, there are kids tees and a baby onesie design, so you can use the same word for a family member who is into the kitchen life.
What sizes do the expeditor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an expeditor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
