Gifts from Extension
An extension is the word that gets said when someone has to go find a person in a building, and the people who work in them are the ones who answer the phone and keep the place running. Campus offices, county departments and large workplaces all use extension numbers, and the people who work there tend to be the first ones to know which line goes where. That makes an Extension shirt a little joke that only the right person will fully get, which is part of its charm. A hoodie is a good pick for an office where the thermostat is set for someone else, and a mug suits a desk that needs a second cup of coffee after the morning calls. Pair the word with a department or a building name on the second line so it's clearly theirs.
