Gifts from Fairmount City
Fairmount City is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Someone who left for a job in a bigger town still knows the main street, the high school football field and the people who ran the corner store. A shirt with Fairmount City on it is how they say where they're from without a long explanation. It's a good gift for a homesick former resident, a family member who stayed close, or a new parent who wants the baby's first outfit to name the hometown. Add a second line with the year they were born or the class they graduated from, and the design starts to belong to one person. Hoodies suit the cold months back home, mugs suit the morning coffee routine of someone living far away, and kids tees let a grandparent pass the town name down to the next generation.
