Gifts from Falkville
Falkville is a small town in north Alabama, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live down the road or have moved to Huntsville, Birmingham or farther. A town that size is the kind of place where everybody knows the high school team, the Friday night lights and the local diner, so a shirt with the town name is a quiet way to say where someone is from. Small-town pride shows up in ordinary moments: a hoodie at a cold game, a tee at a family reunion, a mug on the counter of a kitchen where the coffee is always on. Because Falkville is a smaller place, the best gifts usually add something personal next to the name, like a graduation year, a street or a family name, so the piece belongs to one person and not just to the town.
