Gifts from Fence
Someone with Fence as their word is probably the person who got stuck with fence repair on a Saturday, or who takes a real pride in a straight line of pickets and a clean gate latch. Fence is a word about property, neighbors, and the small work of keeping a yard feeling like home. A gift for someone like that should look like it belongs in the yard or the garage, not in a drawer. Put Fence on a sturdy tee they can wear while stacking posts, or on a hoodie for the chilly mornings they spend walking the line. A mug with their word fits the workbench or the back step, where the coffee gets drunk after the first hour of digging. If the fence is a family project, a second line with their name or the year the fence went up turns a generic shirt into a small record of the work.
