Picking a gift for a fleet mechanic
Fleet mechanics keep a company's vehicles running, which usually means early starts, grease under the fingernails, and a lot of hours spent under hoods and trucks that aren't theirs. They know more about diagnostics and preventive maintenance than most people give them credit for, and they tend to be the first person called when something breaks down on the road. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well. A dark tee is practical for a shop where oil splashes are part of the day, and a hoodie is the thing they'll grab for the cold walk out to the lot before sunrise. A mug on the workbench gets used every shift. You can make any of these theirs by adding a second line, such as their shop name, their fleet type, or the year they started, so the shirt reads as personal and not as a generic work item.
Fleet Mechanic gift questions
Can I add my mechanic's name or shop to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a shop, or a fleet type. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the layout before ordering.
Is there a difference between the light and dark shirts?
Light shirts suit a bright design on a clean background, while dark shirts make the printed design stand out in a work setting. Pick the color that suits where they'll wear it.
What's a good gift for a new fleet mechanic?
A hoodie or dark tee with their title and start year is a nice way to mark the milestone, and it's something they'll actually wear on the job.
Can I order shirts for a whole maintenance team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person, so every mechanic gets a shirt with their own name.
What sizes do the fleet mechanic shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a fleet mechanic gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
