Picking a gift for a flight nurse
Flight nurses work in the air and at the scene, often in the back of a helicopter or a jet with a patient who is critically ill and a crew that has seconds to decide. They pack their gear, fly through weather that would ground most people, and come home from shifts that start in the dark and end who knows when. The gifts that land with a flight nurse are the ones that feel like they were made for this job. A dark tee that holds up after a long run of shifts, a hoodie for the cold flight deck or the drive home, a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't disappear into the break room. Put flight nurse on the front and add their name or the program they fly for on the second line, and it becomes their shirt instead of a generic one. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which makes a better team gift than another round of coffee.
Flight Nurse gift questions
Can I add a program or base name to a flight nurse shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the program, base or unit name there and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
Is there a day that honors flight nurses?
Nurses Week falls in May each year, which is when many flight programs recognize their nurses. Order a few weeks early if you're buying for a whole crew.
Can I add a credential like CFRN after their name?
Yes. Type the credential after their name, or on its own line, and the preview will show how it sits on the design. Only add credentials they actually hold.
What's a good gift for a new flight nurse?
A hoodie or tee with their name and flight nurse on it marks the start of a new role and gives them something practical for the first hard winter of shifts.
What sizes do the flight nurse shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a flight nurse gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
