Picking a gift for a float registered nurse
A float registered nurse is the one who gets sent wherever the staffing gap is, which can mean an ICU bay in the morning and a med-surg floor after lunch. They learn a new unit's layout, its charting system and its quirks on the fly, and they keep their own reliable routines so they don't lose their bearings. The gifts that land for them are the ones that acknowledge that flexibility. A tee or hoodie with RN and their name says this is who they are, whichever floor they're on. Add the credential they worked hard for, like BSN or their specialty certification, and it becomes theirs. A name mug suits the break room of a unit they're visiting for the twelfth time, where everyone else already knows their coffee order. Float nurses rarely get personal recognition, so a gift with their name on it does more than a generic thank-you card.
Float Registered Nurse gift questions
Can I add a credential like BSN or CCRN to the shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box after their name or on its own line, and the live preview will show you how it sits before you order.
Is there a design for a float nurse specifically?
Float nurses usually wear the standard RN designs, since they work across many units. Personalize one with their name and whatever credential they hold.
What's a good gift for a float nurse who is new to the role?
A mug or tee with their name and RN is a simple, lasting reminder that they belong, even on a unit they've only just met.
Can I order for a whole float pool?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the float registered nurse shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a float registered nurse gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
