Gifts from Florala
Florala is a small city in Covington County, in the southern part of Alabama near the Florida line, and people who call it home tend to be proud of it. A Florala shirt is how someone who grew up there, or moved away and kept the connection, shows it at a reunion, a homecoming game or a family trip back. Small towns are close-knit, so a gift with the town name lands because it says the recipient belongs to a particular place and not just a state. For someone who left, a mug with Florala on it can be a morning reminder of home. For someone still there, a hoodie for the cold snaps or a tee for summer gatherings works well. You can make it theirs by adding a second line with the year they graduated, their street or neighborhood, or the family name they're known by around town.
