Picking a gift for a food service director
A food service director usually runs the kitchen behind the kitchen: menus, budgets, staff schedules, inspections and the early-morning calls when a delivery is short. It's a job most people never see, so the gifts that land are the ones that show you noticed the work. A tee they can wear on a day off, a hoodie for the cold walk-in, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the office coffee run all say the same thing. Put the title on it, or add the facility or district they run, like a school district, hospital or campus dining program. If you're thinking about the whole team, the Team Shop lets you put one design on everyone's shirt with each person's name. Many food service directors also hold a credential, such as their state's food safety certification, so if they have one, adding it is a thoughtful detail.
Food Service Director gift questions
Can I add a facility or district name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the school, hospital or campus name there and the preview will show you how it fits before you order.
Can I put a credential like CFSP on the shirt?
Yes, if they hold it. Type it on its own line or after their name. Use the exact abbreviation they use on their own business cards.
What's a good gift for a new food service director?
A mug or tee with their new title and the year they started is a personal way to mark the move, and it's useful from the first week.
What sizes do the food service director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a food service director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
