Gifts from Forbing
Forbing is a name you won't find on many maps, so the person it describes probably gets asked where that is more often than they'd like. A shirt with the word on it is an easy answer and a small point of pride for someone who's proud of a place most people have never heard of. Lean into the smallness: a plain tee or hoodie that reads like a hometown tee works better than anything trying too hard. If you know the year they left, or the street or school they grew up near, add it on the second line so the shirt means something only the two of you fully get. For a homesick transplant, a mug is the everyday reminder of where they came from, and a baby onesie works well for a new parent who wants the kid to start out with a claim to the place. I don't know much about Forbing beyond the name, so the shirt's details are best built from what you know about the person.
