Gifts from Forks
Forks is a small city in Washington's Olympic Peninsula, known mostly as the gateway to the rainforest and the Olympic National Park's western side. Residents tend to be proud of the trees, the rain, and the long drive to anywhere else. A shirt that says Forks is for the person who grew up there and left, the one who came for the timber work and stayed, or the fan of the books and their rainy-town setting. Because Forks is a place many people only know from stories, a gift with the town name works best when it carries a detail that matches their own connection to it, like a year they moved there or the high school class they graduated with. A hoodie is a good choice for the damp mornings they know well, and a mug suits the person who misses the coffee-and-rain routine. Add a second line with a year or a personal note, and the design becomes a small piece of their own history.
