Picking a gift for a functional supervisor
A functional supervisor usually sits between the people doing the work and the people setting the priorities, which makes their days a steady run of scheduling, checking in, smoothing over conflicts and carrying the blame when something slips. They tend to be the one who knows where everything is, who's out sick, and which deadline is quietly getting closer. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge that middle position without being solemn about it. A hoodie for the cold early-morning check-in, a mug for the coffee that gets reheated three times, or a tee for the casual Friday they've earned. Put their title on it, or the team or department they lead, and the design stops being a generic office shirt and becomes theirs. If you're buying for a whole group, one design with each supervisor's name in the Team Shop is a far better way to say thanks than a card passed around the floor.
Functional Supervisor gift questions
Can I put a department or team name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the department, shift or team there. The live preview shows how it sits before you order.
Is functional supervisor a common job title?
It's used in many organizations, especially in larger ones where roles are split by function. If their title is worded differently, type the exact wording you want on the shirt.
What's a good gift for a new supervisor?
A hoodie or tee with their title and the year they started. It marks the promotion and gives them something practical for the first months of the new role.
Can I order shirts for the whole supervisor team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the functional supervisor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a functional supervisor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
