Picking a gift for a game designer
Game designers spend their days on systems, spreadsheets, playtests and the endless question of why the boss fight feels wrong. Many of them have a stack of prototype cartridges, a whiteboard covered in arrows, and a long list of games they played as kids and still think about. A gift that fits that life is something they'll actually wear to a playtest or hang up next to the monitor. A soft tee for the studio, a hoodie for the late-night build crunch, or a mug for the coffee that keeps them going through a bug hunt. Put their name on it, or the word game designer on the second line, and it becomes theirs. It's a good gift for a new hire finishing their first shipped title, or for a friend who has been heads-down on a project for a year and rarely gets a day off.
Game Designer gift questions
Can I add a game title or studio name to the shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type a studio name, a project, or a year there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a version for kids in a game designer's family?
Yes. There are kids tees and a baby onesie design, so you can match a parent who designs games with a small fan.
What's a good gift for a game designer who just shipped a game?
A hoodie or mug with their name and the year the game came out marks the milestone in something they'll use for years.
What sizes do the game designer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a game designer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
