Picking a gift for a general counsel
A general counsel is the lawyer who sits at the top of a company's legal department, usually reporting to the CEO and the board. Their days mix contract reviews, board meetings, regulatory questions and the occasional fire drill, and most of that work happens quietly. A gift that acknowledges the role, rather than a generic lawyer joke, tends to land well. Add their company name or the year they took the job, and the shirt or mug becomes a small marker of the milestone. Mugs suit the long early mornings before the rest of the office arrives. Hoodies are a good fit for the in-house lawyer who spends evenings reviewing documents on the couch. If you're buying for a whole legal team, the Team Shop lets you print one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which works well for an anniversary, a retirement or a holiday party.
General Counsel gift questions
Can I add a company name or year under General Counsel?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a company, a year or another short detail. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is General Counsel a good gift for a retirement?
It can be. A mug or tee with their title and the year they retired gives them something to keep from the job. Adding a personal line makes it feel more like theirs.
Are there designs for kids or babies too?
Some designs come as kids tees and a baby onesie. Use the product filter on the page to see which ones are available.
What sizes do the general counsel shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a general counsel gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
