Picking a gift for a general technician
A general technician is the person who gets called when something stops working, and they often fix it before anyone else has finished their coffee. They might be a jack-of-all-trades on a service crew, handling HVAC, appliances, plumbing or a little of everything in between, and they spend their days in other people's basements, attics and tight crawl spaces. What makes a gift land for them is something that respects the work: a shirt they can wear on a hot roof without fussing over it, a hoodie for the cold early calls, or a mug that stays on the truck dashboard. Put their name on it, or add the company or crew name in the second line so it feels like theirs. Many designs also come in dark and kids versions, so you can match a tee for them with one for their kid who wants to be just like dad or mom.
General Technician gift questions
Can I add a company name or my own text to a technician shirt?
Many designs have a second line for a name, company or crew. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the layout before ordering.
Are there kids versions of technician designs?
Yes. There are kids tees and dark kids tees for some designs, which is a nice way to match a tee with a young fan of the trade.
What's the best gift for a technician who works outdoors?
A dark tee or a hoodie holds up well to dirt and cold weather. A mug with their name is also a good pick for the truck.
What sizes do the general technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a general technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
