Gifts from Genesee
Genesee is a name that means a lot to the people who grew up with it, whether that's the river, the valley it runs through or one of the small towns that carries the name. A Genesee shirt is how they claim it, at a reunion, on a visit home or just on a Saturday around the house. Because the name often belongs to a place rather than a big city, the people who love it tend to be proud of the local details: the hometown streets, the school they went to, the year they left or came back. Add that detail in the second line and the shirt becomes theirs. A hoodie fits the cold months, and a mug works for the one who keeps a little piece of home on the desk. If you're buying for someone who moved away, a Genesee piece is an easy way to say you remember where they're from.
