Picking a gift for a groundman
A groundman works the ground crew for a utility or line company, usually out in the field before dawn and often in heat, rain, or cold, clearing right-of-way, setting and hauling poles, or helping a crew get power back on after a storm. They know the job means long days in boots, dirt in every seam, and a lot of waiting around for the lineman to call for the next thing. The gifts that land tend to be the practical ones they'll actually wear to the job site or grab on the way out the door. A dark tee holds up to grease and mud, a hoodie covers the early-morning chill, and a mug on the truck dash gets used every day. Add the word groundman in bold, or put their crew or company name on the second line, and the shirt becomes theirs instead of a generic work tee. If you're buying for a whole crew, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name gives everyone a shirt they can wear with pride.
Groundman gift questions
What's a groundman?
A groundman is a member of a utility or line crew who works on the ground, handling equipment, poles, and cleanup while the linemen work higher up. It's physical, outdoor work, often done in all weather.
Can I add their company or crew name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type in a crew, company, or local name under the word groundman and check the preview before you order.
Which product is best for a groundman?
Most people pick a dark tee or a hoodie, since they hold up to dirt and work in cold mornings. A mug works well for the truck or the shop.
Can I order shirts for the whole crew?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the groundman shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a groundman gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
