Picking a gift for a grounds person
A grounds person keeps a place looking the way people expect it to, whether that's a school campus, a cemetery, a park, a golf course or a corporate campus. The work starts before sunrise and ends with the last leaf blown off a walkway, and most of it goes unnoticed until something is missing. Mowing lines, fresh mulch, a trimmed hedge along the entrance: these are the details that tell visitors someone cares. A gift that acknowledges that work lands well. A tee or hoodie is practical for the outdoor days, and a mug is a small daily thank-you for the coffee break after the first hour in the cold. Add the place they keep, like the campus or park name, or their crew, in the second line, and the gift stops being generic and becomes theirs. Keep it simple and sincere; grounds crews rarely expect to be thanked, so a personal word on the shirt says more than a fancy wrapper.
Grounds Person gift questions
Can I add the place they work to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the campus, park or cemetery name there and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
Are there kids designs for this word?
There are a few kids tees, which might suit a child who loves helping a parent or grandparent with yard work. Use the product filter to see them.
What else can go on the shirt besides the job title?
You can add a name, a crew, a site or a number. Keep it short so the text reads well on the front.
What sizes do the grounds person shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a grounds person gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
