Gifts from Grover Beach
Grover Beach is a small town on the Central Coast of California, between San Luis Obispo and the ocean, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident or a current one shows where they're from, whether they're back for a holiday visit or wearing it on a trip across the country. Because the town is small, a Grover Beach shirt often means more to the people who know it than a generic beach tee would. Add a year, a school class or a street if you know one, and the design becomes theirs. A mug suits the person who's still close to home, and a hoodie works well for the cool coastal mornings. If you're buying for someone who moved away, a mug or hoodie gives them a little piece of the coast to take with them.
