Gifts from Guadalupita
Guadalupita is a small village in northern New Mexico, in Rio Arriba County. People tied to a place that small often feel that connection most strongly when they've moved away, so a Guadalupita shirt or mug says home in a way a generic souvenir can't. Because the town is so small, the people who recognize the name are likely to be family, neighbors, or friends who grew up there, and that's who will light up at it. A tee for the summer drive back up the valley, a hoodie for the cold mornings, or a mug for the kitchen in a city that doesn't know the name are all ways to say where someone is from. If you're buying for a child born there, a baby onesie puts the place on them from the start. Add a year, a family name, or a second line with the town name in any design to make it feel personal.
