Picking a gift for a guide
A guide spends the day on their feet and their voice, whether they lead hikes, tours, fishing trips or hunts, or walk visitors through a museum or a river town. Their gear takes a beating, and their off hours are often spent outdoors too. A soft tee they can wear on the trail, a hoodie for the cold start before sunrise, or a mug for the drive to the trailhead all fit that life. Make it theirs by putting the word guide on it along with their name, or the kind of guiding they do: fly fishing, backcountry, walking tours. If you're buying for a whole outfitter crew, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a better send-off than another round of sandwiches. A guide's year often turns on the seasons, so ordering a few weeks ahead of the busy spring and fall bookings helps.
Guide gift questions
Can I add the type of guiding to a guide shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type something like fly fishing, hunting or river guide there and check the preview before you order.
Is guide a good gift for someone starting out in the job?
It can be. A tee or mug with their name and the word guide marks the start of their career, and it's useful on the first season's trips.
Can I put a company or lodge name on the shirt?
You can type any text into the design, but if the name belongs to a business, only add it if the guide works there and you're buying for them.
What sizes do the guide shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a guide gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
