Picking a gift for a hammered dulcimer player
Hammered dulcimer players are a particular breed. They haul a trapezoid of strings to jams, festivals and church basements, tune it before every set, and carry a pair of tiny hammers in a pocket like a second set of keys. If you're shopping for one, you probably already know they love the instrument more than most people love their cars. The best gifts say so without being corny: a tee for the festival circuit, a hoodie for the chilly tent at a Saturday-morning workshop, a mug for the coffee that gets cold while they're tuning. Make it theirs by typing the title exactly as they'd say it, or swap in their name, their band, or the town where the weekly session happens. Some designs have a second line, which is a good spot for a favorite tune, a festival name or the year they started playing. A gift that gets the details right tells them you noticed.
Hammered Dulcimer Player gift questions
Can I change the title to say dulcimer player or hammer dulcimer?
Yes. Type whichever wording they use into the text box and the preview updates. Some players prefer dulcimerist or just dulcimer, so match what they'd say about themselves.
Can I add a band name or festival to the design?
Many designs have a second line you can fill in. A band name, a festival, a town or the year they started playing all fit well there.
Are there designs for a hammered dulcimer teacher?
You can type teacher, instructor or the title of a workshop series into the text box, and the preview shows how it fits.
Can I order matching shirts for a dulcimer group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you pick one design, paste each member's name and choose a size for everyone. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the hammered dulcimer player shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a hammered dulcimer player gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
