Gifts from Harwich
Harwich is a small town on Cape Cod's elbow, on the Nantucket Sound side, known for its harbor, its cranberry bogs in the surrounding hills and its summers full of people who have been coming back for decades. A Harwich shirt tends to go to someone with a long attachment to the place: a family that rents the same cottage every August, a local who never left, or a former summer kid now living far away. The gift lands when it shows that attachment. Pick a design that fits how they feel about the town, then add a line that makes it theirs, such as a street, a year they first came, or a nickname the family uses. Dark shirts suit the beach-and-sunset crowd, light shirts suit the bright summer days, and a mug is the easy choice for anyone who starts the morning at a kitchen table with a view they still miss.
