Gifts from Hawarden
Hawarden is a small town in the north of Wales, close to the English border, and it's the kind of place people leave and then keep coming back to in their heads. A Hawarden shirt is for someone who grew up there, moved away for work, or married into a family that's been around for generations. Because it's a small place, the shirt means more to the people who know it than a bigger city name would. Put the town on the front and the year they left, the street they grew up on or the school they attended underneath, and it becomes their story rather than a souvenir. A mug suits the one who still reads the local news online and has opinions about the village hall. A hoodie is good for a visit back during the cold months. If you're not sure how well the town is known, the design can carry the name simply and let the wearer fill in the rest.
Hawarden gift questions
Can I add a street or school name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a street, school or year there. Check the preview to see how it sits under the town name before you order.
Is Hawarden a big enough place for a design to matter?
It doesn't need to be big. Gifts for small towns often land best with the people who know the place, and the design simply gives the name a clear, wearable form.
Can I make a Hawarden design for a family event?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to put one Hawarden design on everyone's shirt, with each person's name printed on their own.
Are there Hawarden designs for children?
