Gifts from Hawkeye
Hawkeye usually points to Iowa, the Hawkeyes of the University of Iowa, and the Hawkeye State nickname that Iowans have worn with pride for generations. A shirt or hoodie with the word is how someone from Iowa, or someone who went to school there, announces where they're from without saying a word. It's a gift that suits game days, reunions, and the homesick transplant who misses the Midwest. Iowa is a place people leave and keep coming back to, so a Hawkeye mug on the kitchen counter or a hoodie for the first cold stretch in a new city carries a lot of meaning. To make it theirs, add a second line with the town they grew up in, the graduation year, or the neighborhood they still talk about. Those small details turn a generic state shirt into a gift that sounds like their own story.
Hawkeye gift questions
Does Hawkeye mean Iowa on these designs?
The word on its own is open to interpretation, so the design reads as the name you type. Add a second line such as Iowa or a town to make the connection clear to anyone who sees it.
Can I add a graduation year or a school name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a year, a class, or a name. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Are there designs for kids and babies?
Yes. Hawkeye designs come as kids tees, kids dark tees, and baby onesies, so a whole family can match.
What's a good gift for a student who's just left home?
A hoodie or mug with Hawkeye and their hometown is a practical reminder of home that fits easily into a dorm or first apartment.
What sizes do the hawkeye shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Hawkeye gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
