Gifts from Henrico
Henrico is a county outside Richmond, Virginia, home to a lot of families who've lived there for generations and a lot who moved in for the schools and the commute. For the Henrico resident, a shirt or mug with the county name is a quiet way of claiming where they belong, whether they grew up on a dead-end street off the river or just settled in last year. Gifts that land tend to be the ones that feel local: a hoodie for the cold Virginia mornings at the bus stop, a mug for the kitchen that looks out at the same trees every day, a tee for the weekend errands around town. If the person you're shopping for has moved away, a Henrico piece is a good reminder of home. You can add a neighborhood, a school mascot if the design allows it, or the year they moved in to make it theirs.
