Gifts from Herminie
Herminie is a small town in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Someone who left for college or a job in Pittsburgh still tells people they're from Herminie, and a shirt with the name on it is how they say so without a long explanation. Small places like this mean a lot to the people who know them, so a gift that puts the town's name on something everyday, like a mug for a morning coffee or a hoodie for a cold Pennsylvania winter, lands well with anyone homesick or proud of where they come from. Think about who you're buying for. A grandparent who never left might want a tee for the porch, while a grad heading out the door might want a hoodie to remember home by. You can add a year, a street, or a family name on the second line to make it theirs.
