Gifts from Herold
Herold is a small name for a place, and that's the first thing to know before you buy. The word is one of the less common city names in the US, so a Herold shirt is usually a gift for someone with a real tie to the place: someone who grew up there, moved away, or just loves that the town name is spelled nothing like the city next door. Because the name is uncommon, it reads as a conversation starter, the sort of shirt people ask about at the airport or the coffee shop. Think about who'd wear it. A longtime resident might want the tee for the local fun run or a summer weekend, while a former resident is more likely to want the mug for the morning reminder of home. Choosing a light or dark tee changes how it reads, and a second line for a year or a neighborhood name can make it feel personal. If you're not sure how much the person knows about the place, a plain design with the name is a safe choice.
Herold gift questions
Can I add a year or a neighborhood to a Herold design?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a street or a neighborhood. Open a design and type your text into the second box to see how it looks before you order.
Is Herold a common place name?
It's an uncommon name, so most people will know the town only if they have a connection to it. That's why a personal detail, like a year or a family name, often makes the gift land better.
Which product is best for someone who moved away?
Many people choose the 11oz mug, since it's used every day. A hoodie or tee is another good choice if they still spend time in the area.
What sizes do the herold shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Herold gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
