Gifts from Hilo
Hilo is the rainy side of the Big Island, the town where the waterfalls and the farmers market are, and where people who've been there tend to say they'd go back in a heartbeat. A Hilo shirt is how someone who grew up there, or spent a few years on the island, wears that home on their chest. Hilo has the kind of mellow, outdoorsy feel that suits a soft tee for the beach, a hoodie for the cooler mornings up the mountain, or a mug for the coffee they're drinking while they plan the next trip back. Add a second line like Big Island, a neighborhood name, or the year they moved away and it becomes their Hilo, not a souvenir. For a Hilo local living somewhere else, a shirt with the town name is an easy way to say they miss it.
Hilo gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or the Big Island to a Hilo shirt?
Many designs have a second line. Type the neighborhood or Big Island there and check the preview before you order.
Are there Hilo designs for kids?
Yes. Hilo comes as a kids tee, a dark kids tee and a baby onesie. Use the product filter to see them.
What if I'm not sure how the town name is spelled on a design?
The preview shows the exact text as it will print, so you can check the spelling and spacing before ordering.
Can I put a family's names on Hilo shirts for a reunion?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to put each person's name on the same Hilo design, with a size chosen for each.
What sizes do the hilo shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Hilo gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
