Gifts from Hingham
Hingham is a South Shore town of harbor walks, old colonial homes and Hingham Bay, and people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it long after they've moved on. A Hingham shirt is how they claim it at a Boston game, on a trip out of state, or at the family reunion where someone always asks where they're from. Because it's a town rather than a big city, the people who know it best will notice the difference between a generic Massachusetts tee and one that names their own place. A hoodie suits the cold months on the water, and a mug fits the morning routine of someone who misses the shoreline. For a Hingham transplant, a gift with the town name is a quiet way of saying you remember where they came from.
