Hippopotamus gifts for the people who love them
Hippos spend their days half-submerged in rivers and lakes, grazing on land at night and somehow looking unbothered about all of it. A hippo gift suits someone who has a soft spot for big, gentle, slightly grumpy animals, the kind of person who collects hippo figurines or keeps a stuffed one on the bed. Hippos are also famous for their enormous mouths and surprising speed on land, which makes for good running jokes that the recipient will recognize right away. A hippo shirt or mug is a light, friendly gift: it's funny without being precious. If you want it to feel more personal, add a second line with a name, a nickname for the hippo-loving friend, or a favorite water spot, and the design becomes theirs.
Hippopotamus gift questions
Can I add a name or nickname to a hippo design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a name or nickname there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Are there hippo designs for young kids?
Yes. There are kids tees and a baby onesie with hippo designs. Use the product filter to see them.
What is a good gift for someone who collects animal themed things?
A hippo mug or tee works well because it fits the collection without looking like a generic animal shirt. Adding their name makes it feel personal.
What sizes do the hippopotamus shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a hippopotamus gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
