Gifts from Hodgenville
Hodgenville is a small city in Larue County, Kentucky, known as the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, and a lot of its people carry that pride with them when they move away. A Hodgenville shirt is how a homesick former resident says where they're from, whether that's at a family reunion, a college campus far from home, or a holiday visit back. Because it's a small town, the people who get these gifts tend to know exactly where the name comes from, so the shirt doesn't need explaining. For a hoodie, the cool months suit a visit back home in the fall or winter. A mug fits the person who keeps a bit of home on the kitchen counter. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a class, or a family name underneath to make the gift feel like theirs.
