Hokkaido gifts for the people who love them
A Hokkaido is a dog people tend to fall for hard, and the owners who love them talk about the same things: the fox-like face, the thick double coat that handles real winters, and a loyalty that can make them a little particular about strangers. Hokkaido is also the name of Japan's northernmost main island, which gives owners a second story to tell. A shirt with the breed name is the obvious gift for someone whose whole weekend revolves around walks, grooming and trying to keep the dog from stealing their breakfast. Adding a dog's name on the second line makes it personal in a way a generic breed tee never is. For someone who has just adopted one, a mug with the dog's name is the kind of small thing they'll keep on the counter for years. Dark shirts tend to suit the Hokkaido's typical red, sesame and black-and-white coats, and a hoodie is the right pick for the owner who walks in every season.
Hokkaido gift questions
Can I add my dog's name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the dog's name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Are there Hokkaido designs for puppies or babies?
Yes, there are baby onesies with Hokkaido designs. They're a fun way to announce a new puppy or a new baby in a dog-loving home.
Does the breed name refer to the island or the dog?
The designs use the word as typed, so you can keep it simple for the breed or add a second line that connects it to the island if that's the story the owner would enjoy.
Which product works best for a dog owner?
Many owners pick a tee or hoodie for everyday wear, and a mug for the kitchen. Choose based on whether they'd wear it on walks or show it off at home.
What sizes do the hokkaido shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a hokkaido gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
