Gifts from Holland Patent
Holland Patent is a small village in Oneida County in central New York, and most people who live there know each other by name. A shirt that says Holland Patent is the kind of thing that gets worn to the village fair, the school football game, or just the grocery store, where you'll run into a neighbor. Small-town pride tends to show up in everyday clothes rather than formal occasions, so a soft tee or a warm hoodie fits the way people here actually dress. For someone who grew up in the village and now lives somewhere else, a mug with the village name is the morning reminder of home. Add a year, a class, or a family name on the second line, and the shirt becomes a piece of their own history rather than a souvenir.
