Gifts from Homestead Air Fo
Homestead Air Force Base is a name most people outside South Florida have never heard, which is part of its story. The base sat in Homestead, a farming town at the edge of the Everglades, and it was a working air base for decades before it was rebuilt after Hurricane Andrew in 1992. People who served or grew up near it tend to carry the name with them, and a shirt or mug with it on is a way of saying where they were. Because the base is a specific place rather than a famous landmark, the details that matter most are personal: the years they were stationed there, their squadron, or the unit they were in. A Homestead Air Force shirt makes a good gift for a veteran who still talks about that stretch of their life, or for a family member who wants something that marks a place they're proud of. Pick the design that fits the years and add them on the second line, and the gift will mean more than a souvenir.
Homestead Air Fo gift questions
Can I add a unit name or squadron to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a unit, squadron or years of service. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing.
Is Homestead Air Force Base still open?
The base was rebuilt after Hurricane Andrew and today operates as Homestead Air Reserve Base. If you're unsure of its current status, check the base's official site before you order a gift around it.
Can I order shirts for a whole unit that served there?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
