Picking a gift for a human resources director
An HR director is the person everyone calls when something goes sideways, and they often spend the day balancing hiring, policy questions, benefits paperwork and the occasional hard conversation nobody wants. Gifts that land for them tend to be practical comforts for long days in meetings and on calls. A soft tee for a casual Friday, a hoodie for the chilly office, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the first coffee before the inbox fills up. Put their title on it, human resources director, or keep it shorter with HR, and add their company's city or the year they started their role if that feels right. A personal line like their name or a team name turns a generic work shirt into something they'll actually reach for. If you're gifting a whole HR department for Human Resources Professionals Day or a team milestone, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
Human Resources Director gift questions
Can I add a credential like SHRM or PHR to the shirt?
Yes, if they hold one. Type it on a second line, such as their name or a credential, and the preview will show how it fits. If you're unsure of the exact credential, ask them first.
Is there a day that honors HR professionals?
Yes, Human Resources Professionals Day is observed in the fall, so ordering a few weeks early is a good idea if you want the gift in time.
Can I put my company name on an HR shirt?
You can type your company's name into the text box, but make sure it's a name you're allowed to use on a gift for an employee.
What's a good gift for a new HR director?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they started works well. It marks the new role and is something they'll use every day.
What sizes do the human resources director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a human resources director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
