Picking a gift for an improvement intern
An improvement intern is usually early in a career, often a student or recent grad working a summer or semester at a home improvement retailer, learning the aisles, the cuts, the customers and the difference between a toggle bolt and a wall anchor. The long shifts on concrete floors and the constant questions from shoppers mean a comfortable tee and a warm hoodie get real use. A mug with their title on it is a small nod to a first job that often gets overlooked. What makes a gift land is recognizing that it's a learning role: a shirt that says improvement intern, plus the year or the store name if you know it, feels like a badge for showing up and getting better at the work. You can add their first name as a second line so it's theirs, and it works just as well for a last day, a finished internship or a first paycheck celebration.
Improvement Intern gift questions
Can I add their name or the store they work at?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type their first name, a year or a store location under the title and check the spacing in the live preview before you order.
Is this a good gift for a last day or end of internship?
Yes. A tee, hoodie or mug with their title and the year they interned marks the finish of the experience, and it's easy to wear or use once the internship ends.
Can I order for a whole intern class?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the list of names and pick a size for each person, so every intern gets their own shirt with their name on it.
What sizes do the improvement intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an improvement intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
