Gifts for Informatics Managers

Picking a gift for an informatics manager

Informatics managers sit at the point where clinical or business work meets data systems, which usually means they're the person everyone asks when the record won't load or the report doesn't match. They spend long days in meetings about workflows, vendor contracts and training schedules, and then come home to a laptop that's still running. A gift that acknowledges the job, rather than just the title, tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is an easy pick for the office or the commute, and a mug suits the desk where they keep a steady stream of coffee going. Add a second line with their department, their organization's initials or the year they took the role, and the design becomes specific to them. If you're buying for a whole informatics team, the Team Shop lets you put one title on a design and each person's name on their own shirt, which is a practical way to mark a team milestone or a farewell.
