Picking a gift for an informatics physician liaison
An informatics physician liaison sits between the clinicians who use the electronic health record and the people who build and configure it. They spend their days translating a doctor's frustration into a workflow change, and they're often the one who sits through the go-live weekend. A gift that says they're the person who speaks both languages fits that. A tee or hoodie with their title reads as a joke only to people who've tried to explain the EHR to a surgeon at 7 a.m. Add their department, their health system's short name, or the year they took the role, and it becomes theirs. A mug works well for the long meetings and the quiet mornings before the pager starts. Because the title is less familiar than nurse or doctor, a short second line that explains a little can help the people around them notice what the job actually is.
Informatics Physician Liaison gift questions
Will the full job title fit on a shirt?
Long titles can wrap to two lines. Type it into the text box and check the live preview before you order, then adjust the wording or split it across the second line if needed.
Can I add their health system or department?
Yes. Many designs include a second line for an organization, unit or year. Type the name you want and the preview will show how it sits.
Is there a gift for someone who just started the role?
A mug or tee with their title and start year is a good fit. It marks the new job without making a fuss about it.
Can I order for a whole informatics team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the names, and pick a size for each person so every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the informatics physician liaison shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an informatics physician liaison gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
