Picking a gift for an instrument person
An instrument person is someone who repairs, tunes, calibrates or builds the tools that other people's work depends on, and their day is spent close to small, precise parts. They often carry a multitool, wear a fleece that's been through a few lab coats, and keep a mug on the bench that's been there longer than most of the equipment. A gift that lands with them is practical and a little nerdy. Think a soft tee for the workshop, a hoodie for the cold building or the drive in, or a mug that stays on their own bench. Put their title in the design, and add their shop, lab or specialty on the second line if you know it. That detail is what makes it theirs rather than a generic work shirt.
Instrument Person gift questions
Can I add their specialty or lab name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a specialty, a shop name or a team there. Check the preview to see how the two lines sit together before you order.
Is there a design for a whole instrument team?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste each person's name and pick a size for each, and everyone gets a shirt with their own name on it.
Which product works best for someone who works in a cold lab?
A hoodie is the warmest option and sits well over a lab coat or fleece. A tee is lighter for warmer rooms or for wearing on days off.
What sizes do the instrument person shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an instrument person gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
