Picking a gift for an intellectual property manager
Intellectual property managers spend their days on patents, trademarks, licensing agreements and the endless question of who owns what. It's careful, detail-heavy work, and the people who do it tend to have a dry sense of humor about how invisible their wins are. A gift that acknowledges the job without being a joke about lawyers lands well. Put their title on a shirt or hoodie they can wear on a casual Friday, or on a mug for the desk where the real work happens. If they're in a particular industry, such as pharma, software or consumer products, a second line naming that field makes the gift feel like it was chosen with their work in mind. A mug is a quiet, daily reminder that their expertise is theirs, which suits someone whose job is all about making ownership clear.
Intellectual Property Manager gift questions
Can I add my colleague's department or industry to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line where you can type a department, a field such as pharma or software, or a company team name. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is there a standard way to write the title?
Titles vary between companies. Check how your colleague signs their email or business card, then match that wording in the text box so the design looks right to them.
What's a good gift for someone who just passed a professional exam?
A mug or hoodie with their title and the year they earned the credential works well. Use the exact name of the certification if you know it, or write their credential in general terms if you're not sure.
Can I order a shirt for everyone on the IP team?
Yes. Choose one design in the Team Shop, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the intellectual property manager shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an intellectual property manager gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
