Gifts from Java
Java is a city on the island of Java in Indonesia, and it's also a word a lot of people know from coffee and programming, so a Java gift can land very differently depending on who's receiving it. Before you pick a design, think about which Java they'd recognize. If they've been to Yogyakarta, Bandung or Surabaya, or have family from Indonesia, a shirt that says Java is a quiet nod to a place that matters to them. If they're a coffee drinker, the mug is the natural pick, since Javanese coffee has a long history and plenty of people have a favorite bag. For someone who writes code, the word is a running joke with their team. Either way, a short second line makes it theirs. Add the neighborhood, the street they grew up on, or a simple reason like Java since 2009. The preview shows you how it sits before you order.
Java gift questions
Which Java does this design mean?
The word Java can mean the island in Indonesia, the coffee, or the programming language. The designs use the word itself, so the meaning comes from the second line you add and the person you're buying for.
Can I add a city or name under Java?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a city such as Yogyakarta or Bandung, a name, or a year, and the preview updates before you order.
Are there Java designs for babies and kids?
There are baby onesies and kids tees with Java designs. Use the product filter on the page to see the options for each.
Can I order Java shirts for a group?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design and paste a list of names, then pick a size for each person so everyone gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the java shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Java gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
