Picking a gift for a journalism intern
A journalism intern is usually working for very little pay, staying late to fact-check someone else's story, and learning the job one deadline at a time. They're often the first person in the newsroom at seven and the last to leave, and a lot of them are still figuring out whether this is the career they want. A gift that acknowledges the work without pretending it's glamorous lands well. A tee with journalism intern on the front and their outlet, year or beat on a second line says you noticed what they're doing. A hoodie is useful for the cold early mornings in a newsroom where the heat is always set to somebody else's preference. For the intern who lives on coffee, an 11 oz mug with their name is the one that will survive the office shared kitchen. If they're starting a new internship, add the season or year so the gift marks the moment.
Journalism Intern gift questions
Can I add the name of their outlet or program?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a newspaper, station, school or program name. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing.
Can I put the year or season on the shirt?
Yes. A year or a season like Fall 2025 works well on the second line and marks when the internship started.
Is there a version for kids or a different product?
Some designs come as kids tees and baby onesies, but most journalism intern designs are for adults. Use the product filter to see what's available.
What sizes do the journalism intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a journalism intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
