Picking a gift for a judge clerk
A judge clerk, usually called a judicial assistant or law clerk depending on the court, spends long days reading briefs, tracking dockets and keeping a judge's calendar running on time. They're often the person who knows where every file is and what's due next, and they rarely get thanked in public. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well: a hoodie for the chilly courthouse hallway, a tee for the weekend, or a mug for the chambers desk where the coffee gets cold while they're fielding calls. Put the word clerk on it, and add the judge's name or the court's division if you know it, so it's clearly theirs. If you're buying for a whole chambers team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, a nice way to say thanks to everyone who keeps the courtroom moving.
Judge Clerk gift questions
Can I add the judge's name or the court to the design?
Yes. Most designs have a second line, so you can type the judge's name, the court or the year they started there.
What's the difference between a judge clerk and a law clerk?
Titles vary by court. Judge clerks often work directly for a judge, while law clerks may be recent law graduates doing a term of service. Use the title your recipient uses.
Is there a good gift for a judge clerk who is leaving a position?
A mug or tee with their name and clerk on it makes a memorable send-off. Adding the year they started gives it a personal touch.
What sizes do the judge clerk shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a judge clerk gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
