Gifts from Karlstad
Karlstad is a small city in western Sweden, on the shore of Lake Vänern, and it's the kind of place people leave for work and then keep coming back to. A gift for someone from Karlstad, or with family there, lands best when it reads as a little bit of home. Many people who grew up there end up in bigger cities or abroad, and a shirt with the name is a quiet way to say they still belong to the place. Karlstad also has a river running through the middle and a lot of water and forest around it, so a design with the city name fits someone who loves the outdoors. Make it theirs by adding a second line: a street they grew up on, the year they moved away, or a nickname the family used. For a parent or grandparent who left the town, a mug in the morning is a steady reminder of where they started.
