Picking a gift for a kayaker
Kayakers spend their weekends on lakes, rivers and coastlines, and they tend to dress for the water and then for the drive home. A kayak tee is what they'll wear on the put-in and then again at the post-paddle lunch. A hoodie suits the early morning launch when the air is still cold and the water is glassy, and a mug is the one they reach for on the porch with the boat still on the roof. What lands best with paddlers is a shirt that says they're one of the people who actually go out, not just someone who bought a boat once. Add the waterway they paddle most, a local river or lake name, or the year they started. Many designs have a second line for exactly that. If you're buying for a paddling club or a group that goes out together, the Team Shop prints one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which is a lot easier than chasing sizes across a group chat.
Kayaker gift questions
Can I add the river, lake or club name to a kayaker shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the waterway or club name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a kayak shirt for kids?
There are a few kids tee designs. Use the product filter to see the kids tees and kids dark tees for this word.
What's a good gift for someone just starting to kayak?
A tee or mug with kayaker and the year they started makes a nice marker of a new hobby. It's a gift they can wear on their first trips and keep for years.
Can I put a paddling club name on the shirts?
Yes. Type the club name into the design, and if you're ordering for the whole group, use the Team Shop to add each person's name.
What sizes do the kayaker shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a kayaker gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
